24th March – Tuberculosis Day.
Heralding back to March 24th 1852, Tuberculosis Day celebrates the same day a hundred years previously when Dr. Robert Koch announced he had been able to find the cause of the disease and therefore create a cure.
This was the then-equivalent of a cure to cancer.
