This day acts as a tribute to author Douglas Adams, who wrote famed novel The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy.

It’s a rather easy day to celebrate and it’s done by taking a towel with your wherever you go, be it work, school, or just to the shops.

The only thing that’s important on this day is that you don’t forget to bring a towel!
